A Short Note

I am bad at managing my time on here.....

I love Kearney! The work is moving forward and we are finding new investigators and love the sisters so much!

A few shout outs:

*First to my little bro who, in less than 12 hours will be set apart as a missionary. GO GET EM!*

*Next: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ABBY, JENI AND JAKE!*

*Final shout out to my Kaela Baucom who said she was never getting married but is currently engaged: CONGRATS! Syd, looks like it's just you and me! ps i totally called Kaela was next to get married :) *

I just want you all to know that the Atonement is so amazing. Use it every day! I am grateful that I don't have to be the same person I was yesterday or even 15 minutes ago! Thank you for all of your love and support!

Longest week ever!

It was long but it was great! So remember how I gave this big shout out to Sister Call and how much I was going to miss her and how much I learned from her? Well....joke was on us because we both stayed in Kearney together. I take it all back :) haha Just kidding, it is all still true! We both were so convinced she was leaving though that it was kind of awkward when we were still companions. haha We're learning how to be companions again!

In other news....SISTER CARLY LYNN CASE IS NOW IN MY ZONE! That means I get to see her! That means we get to do exchanges with her! Heavenly Father is so aware of us, it's true.

My dear friend Stacey Vance (was my STL my first transfer) asked me last week how I knew that Heavenly Father was aware of me. I started looking for more ways this week and it was such a blessing. My studies were pretty selfish and I asked questions about myself because I have a lot of improvements to make but he answered my questions every time. He even answered the questions that I didn't ask! My challenge to each of you this week is to ask HF a question before you study/read the BOM and watch what happens. Y'all should email me and tell me about your experiences.

Karen is doing amazing! She is jumping hurdles left and right. She knows the BOM is true and she already wants to share the gospel with every one. She said before she can get baptized she has to know it won't negatively affect her marriage. PRAY!

We got a few referrals from members of the Bishopric this week and they are now investigators, our teaching pool is slowly but surely building.

As this new transfer begins we know that all the sister are going to have a Baptism this transfer...including us! So hold on to your britches and prepare yourselves for the best transfer ever!

I love you all so much! I know that Christ lives and he is our Savior. I know that a man will get nearer to God by reading and abiding by the precepts found in the BOM so read it! JUST DO IT! (nike)

Happy Mother's Day

Howdy!

I hope y'all had the best week ever because I sure did! I want to thank y'all for the birthday wishes and love :) I hope everyone had a great mother's day! I don't know how I got so lucky to have my only birthday on my mission be on a mother's day when I get to skype my family! And speaking of.....SHOUT OUT TO MY GORGEOUS family! Y'all look so great and I forgot how beautiful and handsome you all are! No wonder... :)

These two will be in the field together in about 16 days.

I have the best companion ever! I am so grateful that I got to be here with her to Celebrate my birthday. Sister Flannigan is the best ever! They suprised me with birthday lunch and yummy bath and body works stuff! Also....on Saturday we helped her put stones on her house....you could say we're stoners....but then that would be highly inappropriate so we'll just keep it as the stone wall sisters!

The best part of my birthday was getting to skype my family and especially my mommy :) I love y'all so much! There is no place I would rather be but it sure was good to see you all!

I want to invite everyone to read 2 corinthians 12: 9-10 this scripture has changed my life and I hope it does that same for you!

We WILL set Karen for baptism this week, I just know it!

I love you all so much :)

"Thrust in YOUR sickle"

We had stake conference this weekend and it was possibly the best ever. I wish y'all could have heard it. Elder Ward of the 70 was there. Saturday night session was all about missionary work and us 4 sisters in Kearney were asked to do a special musical number. I'll be sending videos home soon.

I cannot explain to you how amazing this night was. The musical number was the EFY medley but we used the new missionary words to As Sisters in Zion. The spirit was so strong. I just smiled the whole meeting because it was all about missionary work. Elder Ward personalized D&C 4:4. He talked about how we each have our own sickle and we are to use it to work around us. THERE ARE PEOPLE WITHIN OUR REACH! All of us, not just some of us. Who can you reach out to and share this GOOD NEWS with? Thrust in your sickle. The gathering of Israel is happening. Will you be a part of it?

We also had Mission Leadership conference this week and it was incredible. the mission is good at being obedient and working hard but we need the FAITH to see miracles.

I LOVE ALL YOU MOTHERS OUT THERE! Especially my own mother. I am where I am because of you and I thank you so much for that! And to my grandma, sisters, and aunties! Have a great mothers day!

 LOVE ALWAYS,

 Sister Dumont
